Add at least 15cm (6 Inches) to the size of your frame to find the correct bag size for your painting. Please note, due to the handmade nature of the bags there may be a 2-3cm (1 inch) size variation either way. Consider this when measuring. The bag measurements are the external size of the bag. The width is the opening end. Your artwork should slide easily in and out of your bag. If in doubt, go bigger and fold the excess over for added cushioning. Read the SIZE GUIDE for more information.

​No, our bags are not designed to be carrier bags, they are artwork sleeves / pouches. You simply slide your artwork into the bag. Any excess length folds over at the top to close the bag and to create even more protection for your artwork when stored, packed or transported.

1. The easiest way is to fold the top over.

2. If you choose to use adhesive tape on your bag, only use low tack painters tape, so as not to damage the surface of the bag when the tape is removed. Low tack painters tape is available at any hardware store.

3. Do not use standard packaging tape, the adhesive is too strong and could damage the surface of the bag when removed. However, this won’t change the functionality or strength of the bag in any way, only the appearance.
